This aerial panoramic photograph of the Purdue campus was taken in 1934. It depicts the campus as it looked at the time the Wilmeth brothers were undergraduate students. Landmarks to pick out include the University Hall with its iconic steeple in the center of the frame and Ross-Ade Stadium visible in the center at the top of the frame. The 1924 power plant with its 250 foot high smokestack is clearly visible in the middle right of the image. Notice too how the campus is closely surrounded by farm fields in all directions.
